The SoLoad Foreign Function Server

SoLoad is a program which enables the use of C libraries from within a variety of scripting languages. All it requires is for you to start the application, and send it commands. It is capable of recieving commands over a variety of Control Methods, such as Unix Stdin, and TCP. It is similar in concept to Peter van Eerten's GTK-Server.
